Connectors and MCP

Lucy talks to outside services through MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.

  • Built-in connectors: Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Each person connects their own account. Tokens stay in the broker; they never reach the model or the sandbox.
  • Your own server: an admin adds a remote MCP server by URL, with no sign-in or a credential shared by the organisation.
  • Permissions: every tool is allow, ask or deny. Defaults come from the tool’s MCP annotations: mark read-only tools read-only so they need no prompt.

The API operations are in the reference under Connectors.
