Models
Section titled “Models”Lucy picks the model for each answer (“Auto”). An organization can
let people choose the model of a conversation instead, model by model
(GET /org/models): everyone, only the people and groups an admin
selects (others can ask for it, see Requests), or nobody. The choice is
the conversation’s (Conversation.model) and applies to every later
answer. When the chosen model can’t take a turn (an image for a model
that can’t read images, a conversation longer than its context), Lucy
picks another one for that answer and says why
(Message.model_fallback). Quotas and budgets apply as usual: answers
are charged at the price of the model that wrote them.
