A real sign-in at the provider, outside any session: open url in a window; the admin signs in there with an account of the organization. The identity service then sends the browser to Lucy, which keeps the result on the provider (IdentityProvider.test), tells the window that opened the test (a message event with {type: "lucy:sso-test", status, email, error}) and audits it (org.sso.test_started, then test_passed or test_failed). It passes when the account’s email is on one of the organization’s verified domains. No account is made. At most 5 starts per 10 minutes (429).
