Quotas
Section titled “Quotas”Admins set limits in money (EUR): what Lucy may cost per person over
a window. Members never see amounts, only how much of their
allowance they’ve used and when it resets (see Me.usage).
Windows: five_hours (rolling, starts with the first answer; spreads
use out), week (resets Monday 00:00 UTC) and month (resets on the
1st, UTC). Each level may set any of them.
For each window, a member’s limit is: their own override, else the
most generous override among their groups, else the organization’s
default per member, else none. Everyone also draws from the
organization’s monthly budget: the one its admins set, at most the
contract’s (PATCH /org/quotas). Limits are checked before an answer
starts and charged when it ends, so one answer can go slightly over;
the next one won’t start.
